Members
Join our global community and network with peers at congresses, educational events and online forums. AVOLA annual membership fees are country-specific. Individual country fees are based on local price levels and purchasing power. Depending on the country in which you reside, your fee will be charged in one of two currencies EUR or CHF. 10% or 15% discounts are available for a two- or three-year membership. AVOLA membership starts on the day it is purchased and is valid for the period selected: 1, 2, or 3 years.
Fellows
Fellows form the core of the organization and play an active role in shaping the future of our organization. Fellows are professionals who may serve in official AVOLA functions on the AVOLA Board of Directors, Committees or in the Project Teams. AVOLA fellowship is by nomination only. Candidates must demonstrate a high level of activity and dedication in at least one of the following areas: education, research or leadership in a professional organization. Fellowship nominations may only be made by AVOLA Fellows with at least three years' seniority. Each nomination must be supported by an AVOLA Fellow or a member of the Board of Directors. Fellowship nominations are reviewed by the AVOLA Board of Directors twice a year.
Membership fees
In order to implement our plans and to finance a part of our activities, we also need your annual contribution. Considerable additional financial contributions are provided by our industrial partner(s) and other third parties (e.g. foundations, individuals).
In the long run, it pays off to join AVOLA to play an active role in our organization. Yes, you invest time in order to discuss with your peers, share your professional experiences, help younger colleagues reaching new levels or join a project team. There is so much to be done.
On the other hand, you will also be rewarded with new ideas, alternative concepts and learning opportunities. Your commitment and dedication are well appreciated, as you will belong to a devoted exclusive group of professionals helping each other to develop further for the benefit of society.
PLEASE NOTE: Annual membership fees are country-specific. Individual country fees are based on local price levels and purchasing power. Depending on the country in which one resides, the fee will be charged in either EURO (EUR) or SWISS FRANCS (CHF).
